Manav Seva Sansthan, Samraniya Baran organized a Block-Level COVID-19 Vaccination Workshop in collaboration with UNICEF and Aravali Jaipur at Shahabad block in Baran district, Rajasthan.

The workshop was conducted with the objective of strengthening community-level response to the COVID-19 pandemic by building the capacity of local volunteers.

The main focus of the workshop was to train volunteers so that they could become community leaders and actively support vaccination drives and other public health activities. Participants were provided with detailed information on COVID-19, the importance of vaccination, vaccine safety, eligibility criteria, and common myths and misconceptions related to COVID-19 vaccines.

Special emphasis was given to leadership development, communication skills, and community mobilization techniques. Volunteers were trained on how to motivate people, address vaccine hesitancy, assist health workers at vaccination sites, and help in spreading correct information at the grassroots level.

The workshop also highlighted the role of volunteers during health emergencies, including supporting awareness campaigns, assisting vulnerable groups, and coordinating with local administration.
